CLASS
In class tonight we went over our Room for debate projects. Professor Mangini described the topic and position of a thesis statement. He also informed us that there would need to be a link to a video in our paper. This will definitely be another first for me. I have been debating whether to stay solo on the project or pair up with someone. I had put a lot of time in my piece so I didn't really want to ditch it. I have a lot of work to do on it so I need to get into action. Art demonstrated for us how to use the learning commons on web study. I never knew that option was available to us. Later in the class, we were allowed to group up and discuss our projects. I had an opportunity to talk to the Professor about my paper and he gave me some good guidance into what needs to be accomplished.
HOME
I got the bright idea to take Nicholas to the SPCA to look at kittens. He had been hounding me for a brother, a sister, a dog and I had said that maybe a kitten would be best for us. I took him with no real intentions of getting one that day and found myself walking out with one. I instantly felt panic and thought to myself, "WTF did you just do"? From the minute we came home I had a migraine and it stayed with me for the whole entire week. I couldn't get used to the litter box and the grossness that comes with it. The kitten wanted to sleep in my bed and on my head. I realized Nicholas was way too young and way too boy to understand that this was a baby and not a toy. Everything always goes wrong when I don't listen to my gut feeling. As I was signing my life away to the SPCA I knew that this wasn't a good idea. To make a long story short, the migraines were relentless and I was starting to believe that I was allergic to the kitten or so stressed out from it. Feeling like the worst person in the world, I had to return the kitten to the shelter, which was best for everyone. I'm happy to say that my house is back to its normal crazy and my migraines have subsided.
