CLASS
This weeks class involved a lot of laughter and it showed signs of the semester coming to an end. Professor Mangini had us play a game that was reminiscent of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire. The game was complete with life lines and everything. Ben was brave enough to volunteer first which showed a lot of courage. One by one each student was called up to be a part of the game. There were ten questions in all and my fellow students did a great job answering them. As winners of the game, the class got to pick how we wanted the next week to go as far as class and due dates. The outcome was a in class workshop next Thursday for whomever wants to attend. Also in person conferences the following Thursday to discuss our grades. I have to say that this class started on a high note. But you could definitely feel the sadness in the room at the end. This has been a wonderful class to be a part of. Even if I'm like the oldest student in the class according to the Professor. I have to say that it was a little weird having a teacher who is only a year older than me. But he was fun, energetic and really got the class excited about learning. There needs to be more teachers like him.
HOME
Our house is all decorated and ready to go for Santa! Judy, my neighbor across the street, gave us a fake Christmas tree with the lights already on it. What a wonderful gift for our Christmas holiday. For the last three years, I have been dragging a real tree in and out all by myself which is no fun at all. This tree is perfectly beautiful and it has already saved me fifty bucks and some change. Nicholas is worried because it touches the ground that Santa won't be able to put the gifts underneath it. Kids! In other news...My mother just had her port placed. It looks like the cancer has Satellite in her breast. Apparently this means that it has branched out. Ugh I don't know, this just all sucks! I want things to go back to normal. I don't want my mom to be scared, sick and sad. Please say a prayer for my mom that she kicks this cancers ass! Thank you
